Iowa Republicans plan ‘Freedom Rally’ to counter Obama visit
DES MOINES — Republican Party of Iowa officials said Tuesday they are organizing a Stand Up for Freedom Rally slated to occur on the eve of President Barack Obama’s visit to Iowa City Thursday to discuss a freshly signed health-care reform measure.
